About Department
Department of Physics was started during the academic year of 2008-2009 with a mission of imparity quality education in Science to students in Allied and Applied level. This mission is reflected in the institution’s efforts to offer education to rural students. The goal of our departments is to furnish the development of students to keep the intellectual competence thereby making them to become bright citizens. Our department has successfully helped to produce number of graduates with excellent results so far. The results performance of the department from its inception has been uniformly excellent. During the academic year 2008-2009, 2015-2017 and 2016-2017, B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Phil courses were started, respectively. Our department has a good potential to promote skill oriented programs. The faculty may be encouraged to go for more interactive learning to promote the basic skills of the students community and research orientation is also suggested, The self-development, national development are the major considerations and objectives of the department. We produce consistent success rate in the University Examinations at the Allied and Applied level.
