Over View of National Service Scheme (NSS)
- National Service Scheme (NSS) was started the year 2008 with 100 students in our college. We having conducting the special camp from 2008 onwards.
- Bharathidasan University was selected our college NSS Unit as the best NSS Unit from various affiliated colleges during the period 2013-14 .
- Our NSS student has participated Gandhi Jayanthi function held on 02.10.2014.
- We have conducted special camp for the theme of “Health, Public Health and Personal Health” at parambur village during the period 2014 –15,at Senthamangalam village during the period 2015 -16 and also at Kudumiyanmalai during the year 2017.
- We had joined together with TrichyMahathma Eye Hospital for conducting Free Eye Camp under the scheme of “KANNOLI” Plan.
- We have conducted special camp for the theme of “Rural Tidy Youth’s Duty” at Thirunattampatti on the period of 2017 -18 & 2018-19.
- We have conducted special camp on the period of 2019 at our college premises.
- On 17.08.2019our NSS students has participated “Organ Donation Awareness” Marathon Camp.
- On 16.12.2019 our NSS students has conducted and participated at Blood Camp which was held at our college premises.Dr.K.H.Saleem felicitate the function.Our college students donate 51 unit blood through this camp.
- On 07.02.2020 Road safety awareness program was conducted by our NSS unit.
- Again on 05.02.2021 Road safety awareness program was conducted by our NSS unit.
- On10.03.2021 (world women’s day), NSS conducted competitions like Rangoli, poetry writing and oratorical competition for girls students and prizes were given.
- NSS Students conducted Election awareness procession on 19.03.2021 at keelapaluvanji and melapaluvanji in perumanadu village.
