Founding (2006): Sudharsan College of Arts and Science was established in 2006 by Shri V.K. Sundaram with a noble vision to provide quality education to the underprivileged students in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. Initially starting with just four departments, the college aimed to bridge the educational gap and empower students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Location: Situated in the serene surroundings of Kothandaraamapuram village in Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu, Sudharsan College of Arts and Science provided an ideal setting for learning and academic growth. Its location, approximately 6 km from Pudukkottai Town via Kudumiyanmalai road at Perumanadu Village, offered accessibility while maintaining a tranquil environment conducive to education.

Affiliation: Sudharsan College of Arts and Science was affiliated with Bharathidasan University, a renowned institution known for its commitment to academic excellence and research.
